How You'll Perform the Role
We're looking for an organised and data-driven individual to shape demand plans, manage supplier partnerships and keep our products flowing seamlessly from production to warehouse. You'll have real ownership, visibility and influence across the business, helping support Vegware's continued growth.
Key responsibilities
Demand & Inventory Planning
- Own inventory planning and forecasting across the product range to balance availability, cash flow and stock levels.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand usage, manage expectations and meet demand.
- Identify supply risks, shortages and excess inventory.
- Analyse sales and product performance to improve planning decisions.
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Raise purchase orders and manage supply plans with our manufacturing partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for supply-related matters.
- Track production schedules and supplier commitments to ensure products are delivered on time and in full.
- Resolve supplier queries, invoice discrepancies and order amendments.
Logistics & Warehousing
- Coordinate inbound logistics across sea, road and air freight.
- Monitor shipments and proactively manage delays.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability.
Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate supply chain data within our ERP and other business systems.
- Contribute to supply chain performance reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance and costs.
- Support wider supply chain projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We Need From You
Skills and attributes
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Highly organised and reliable, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident using business systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Collaborative and approachable, with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners.
- Eager to learn, be proactive and contribute to a supportive team culture.
Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in a supply chain, procurement, operations or commercial role.
Desirable
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Understanding of demand planning, inventory management and supplier management processes.
- Experience within FMCG, food, manufacturing or packaging industries.
- Passionate about sustainability and the environment.
