Our client, a leading professional services firm in Taunton, is recruiting for an Assistant Operations Manager to join their Facilities Management team.

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day delivery of facilities and operational services across the business. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll help lead a small team, oversee key service areas, drive continuous improvement and ensure a smooth, efficient and high-quality service is delivered across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of operational and facilities services.
- Oversee key service areas, including postal and e-post functions, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- Act as the first point of escalation for service-related queries, investigating issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Lead, motivate and support a small team, ensuring high levels of performance and service delivery.
- Manage the onboarding, induction and training of new colleagues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement operational efficiencies.
- Support internal audits and ensure procedures and processes are followed consistently.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure, organised and professional working environment.
- Support the Operations Manager with wider operational projects and initiatives as required.
The Successful Candidate:
