Overview
Role summary: To manage the Aerodrome Fire and Rescue Service and staff (including writing monthly rosters) at a UK CAA Licensed Aerodrome in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Manage the aviation fuelling facilities in accordance with Air Navigation Order, CAA regulations and other appropriate legislation.
Responsibilities
· Effective management of the ARFFS and aircraft fueling operation.
· Providing annual leave cover for ARFFS staff.
· Liaise with internal (ATC) and external agencies.
· Follow and comply with the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
· Preform ancillary tasks as required to maintain effective running of the RFFS department.
· Take responsibility for your own actions.
· Interact effectively with other RFFS members.
· Comply with appropriate training programme (RFFS and fuelling).
· Maintain CAA and company administrative records in accordance with published procedures.
· Liaise with the Wildlife Control Officer.
· Liaise with customers regarding refuelling requirements.
· Report incidents or unavailable services in accordance with local procedures and the Redhill Aerodrome SMS.
· Oversee regular emergency training scenarios for the RFFS.
· Maintain a current Fire-fighters Medical certificate.
· Attend courses as appropriate to facilitate performing the required RFFS functions required by the Aerodrome Management.
· Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
