## Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, positive assistant cook to join our team in preparing delicious brunch-forward dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various food preparation tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, will have some experience in kitchens, and be passionate about great food. Any experience with baking a massive bonus! We're looking for the perfect forward thinking person to join us on Sundays and Mondays, bringing enthusiasm and vigor to a pivotal role.
## Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to prepare meals and baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Store food items appropriately and rotate stock as needed
## Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is necessary
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and help with various kitchen tasks
