Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. This role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of clients. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Administer medication following care plans and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
- Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs of each client
- Support clients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their independence
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation when necessary
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and documentation
- Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Pay: £12.21-£18.06 per hour
