Fully Qualified Electrician (Self-Employed)

Due to continued growth, Horton Electrical & Building Services Ltd is looking for a fully qualified Electrician to join our team on a self-employed basis.
We carry out a wide range of commercial electrical projects across London and throughout the UK. This role will involve working away from home on occasions, with accommodation provided and enhanced day rates for away work.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and is committed to delivering high-quality installations safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance and testing of commercial electrical systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Carry out work in accordance with BS 7671 and current regulations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Work alongside other electricians and trades to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site safety.
- Complete relevant paperwork and communicate effectively with the project team.
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Valid ECS Card.
- Previous commercial electrical experience.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Happy to work away when required.
- Self-employed / UTR registered.
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently or as part of a team.
