Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of quality.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of baristas, cooks, servers, and support staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Train staff on food production, serving techniques, barista skills, and customer service best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors for supplies and equipment maintenance to keep the café running efficiently.
- Monitor and control operational costs, including labour, stock, waste, and other expenses, to ensure the café operates efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of service and quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or café management with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
- Experience in bartending or beverage service is highly desirable.
- Skilled in supervising teams, managing schedules, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent understanding of food safety protocols and food production standards.
- Strong background in hospitality with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
