Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Webinar Host to facilitate online presentations and interactive sessions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and experience in guest services or hospitality environments. This role involves engaging audiences, managing session flow, and ensuring a seamless virtual experience for attendees. The Webinar Host will play a vital part in representing our organisation professionally while delivering compelling content.
Duties
- Present webinar content confidently and clearly to diverse audiences
- Engage with participants through live chat, Q&A sessions, and polls to foster interaction
- Manage the technical aspects of webinars, including starting sessions, sharing screens, and troubleshooting minor issues
- Upsell additional products or services where appropriate during sessions to maximise engagement and revenue opportunities
- Coordinate with team members to prepare presentation materials and ensure smooth session flow
- Monitor attendance and participation metrics to assess engagement levels
- Maintain a professional demeanour throughout all sessions, representing the organisation positively
- Assist in planning future webinars by providing feedback on session effectiveness and attendee responses
Requirements
- Proven experience in guest services, hospitality, or similar customer-facing roles such as restaurant or hotel experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and retain audience attention
- Excellent organisational skills and time management to handle multiple sessions efficiently
- Ability to upsell products or services tactfully during live presentations
- Demonstrated ability to manage virtual platforms and utilise webinar software effectively
- Experience in fundraising or similar initiatives is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism at all times
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable with a keen eye for detail
