Part-Time Team Member – Wimbledon
Wafflemeister Wimbledon is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Part-Time Team Member to join our small and energetic team!
We’re all about serving great-tasting, high-quality waffles, crêpes, savoury brunch, coffee, thick shakes and delicious desserts. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and take pride in creating a great customer experience, we’d love to hear from you!
What We Offer
- £13 per hour
- 14 days’ holiday pro rata, including Bank Holidays
- 24-30 hours per week
- 3 days per week: Wednesday-Friday

☕ The Role
As a Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving customers and taking orders
- Preparing waffles, crêpes and pancakes
- Preparing savoury food and desserts
- Making coffees, thick shakes and other beverages
- Handling payments and operating the till
- Keeping the café clean, organised and presentable
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Following food hygiene and food safety procedures
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
- Being confident and capable of opening and closing the shop independently
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and welcoming with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and able to stay calm in a busy environment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Organised, proactive and willing to take responsibility
- Comfortable handling food and drinks
- A good communicator with a positive attitude
- Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but it is not essential. We’re happy to consider someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
