Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tyre Fitter/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Remove, replace, and repair tyres on a variety of vehicles using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle tyres and mechanical components to identify issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during tyre fitting or maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or vehicle repair preferred
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, and wheel alignment techniques is desirable
- A full UK driving licence
