Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated High Quality Carpenter to join our team for top-tier second fix fit outs along the North Coast of Cornwall. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious projects, ensuring precision, quality, and craftsmanship at every stage. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry and joinery, with a focus on delivering flawless finishes that meet exacting standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute second fix carpentry tasks including fitting doors, skirting, architraves, cabinetry, and other detailed joinery elements
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and install timber components with precision
- Fabricate custom joinery pieces as required to specifications
- Assist with assembly of structural elements and ensure proper alignment and fitment
- Conduct roofing tasks where necessary, including installing roof linings or fascia boards
- Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials and components into position
- Support construction painting, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work as needed to ensure seamless project progress
Experience
- Proven experience in high-quality carpentry and joinery within construction or refurbishment projects
- Skilled in fabrication, assembly, and installation of bespoke timber elements
- Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices
- Experienced with power tools including drills, sanders, saws, and nail guns
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and heavy lifting procedures on-site
- Familiarity with construction painting, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
