Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. 18+ only. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills whilst working in a dynamic setting. Candidates should be organised, friendly, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Provide friendly advice on drink selections and promote special offers
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks smoothly
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication skills to engage positively with customers and colleagues
