PhysioSpace is looking for an ambitious, experienced physiotherapist to join our team as Head of Clinical Services.
This is a leadership role for someone who wants to make a genuine impact. Combining leadership of a high-performing team with managing a varied caseload. You will lead by example, providing outstanding evidence-based care while developing people, improving services and helping shape the future growth of an ambitious healthcare business.
As the operational leader of our clinical services, you will report directly to the Clinic Owner and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and performance of the service. Alongside maintaining your own clinical caseload, you will ensure PhysioSpace consistently delivers exceptional client outcomes, outstanding client experiences and sustainable commercial growth through strong leadership, mentoring and operational excellence.
The role | Full Time – 40 hours per week
Drive clinical excellence
- Lead evidence-based clinical practice across the team
- Maintain outstanding standards of care and clinical governance
- Develop clinical pathways, audits and service improvements
- Support complex clinical decision making and case discussions
Develop a high-performing team
- Mentor, coach and support physiotherapists, sports therapists and all other staff
- Lead team meetings, 1:1s, performance reviews and professional development
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of great people
Own service performance
Working alongside the Clinic Owner, you will help deliver agreed clinical and commercial objectives for both self funding and insurance clients including:
- Clinician utilisation
- Client retention
- Client experience
- Referral growth / network growth
- Service development
- Revenue and operational performance
Your role will be to help clinicians communicate value, deliver excellent rehabilitation journeys and ensure clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Performance bonus

What we're looking for:
Essential:
HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
CSP membership
Minimum 5+ years MSK physiotherapy experience
Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
Leadership, mentoring or team development experience
Ability to combine clinical excellence with commercial awareness
Desirable:
Private practice experience
Experience managing KPIs
Service development experience
Leadership or management training
Deep understanding of client experience
Experience of delivering data driven care
Understanding of marketing
