We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team.
As Operations Supervisor you will provide key support to the operations department. This is a reactive role where good time management and communication skills are key.
The responsibilities of the operations supervisor include carrying out Health & Safety audits and reporting, reducing operational costs and monitoring compliance with our operational policies.
To be successful as Operations Supervisor, you should be result-oriented with excellent leadership and project management skills. Be highly organised motivated and an excellent communicator to all levels of the business.
Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Assist with job planning, organising labour, materials, and plant requirements
- Implementing effective strategies to enhance the productivity and margin of projects
- Motivating and supervising employees
- Evaluating the performance of your assigned employees, delivering positive and/or negative feedback, and addressing any shortcomings
- Implementing departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
- Monitoring staff work hours and productivity on our job management system
- Assisting with the on-call rota
- Responsible for carrying our routine toolbox talks
- Responsible for Health & safety compliance and adhering to company policies including RAMS
Operations Supervisor Requirements:
- Proven work experience within an operations supervisor role
- Experience within a drainage industry is preferred
- Experience in implementing operational processes
- Have proficient IT skills
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- A comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety practice and policies
- A full UK driving licence
Working hours 7am - 5pm
