We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a crucial part of our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service. Your role will encompass various responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant and enhance the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, communicating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support bartending staff during busy periods by preparing drinks and assisting with service as needed.
- Participate in catering events when required, ensuring high standards of hospitality are maintained.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
