Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards. The Bar Team Leader will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing the team to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the bar team, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
- Manage some stock levels and change orders
- Producing rotas
- Train new staff members
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards across the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management on events to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, preferably with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in supervising staff within a busy hospitality setting such as events, hotels, or bars.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional approach.
- Previous experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding licensing laws is desirable.
- A passion for hospitality combined with a proactive attitude towards team development and operational excellence.
