Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bank Kitchen Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will complete food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and basic cooking tasks
- Cook and assemble meals according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
- Support the team during busy service periods, including serving customers when required
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly attitude with excellent teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
This role is ideal for somebody who is flexible and available to cover at short notice.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
