Responsibilities
- Assisting in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Preparing ingredients and assembling menu items with precision and care
- Ensuring all meals meet quality standards before serving
- Supporting the team during busy periods by serving customers and managing order flow
- Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen is well-equipped for daily operations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or working within a kitchen environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving customers
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and customer service
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
