We are seeking an experienced Stone Worktop Installer / Stonemason to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, installation, bonding, jointing, and finishing of stone and solid surface kitchen worktops in residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Install quartz, granite, marble, porcelain, ceramic, and solid surface worktops.
- Carry out seamless bonding and jointing of stone surfaces using specialist adhesives and colour-matched resins.
- Measure, level, and fit worktops accurately according to templates and technical drawings.
- Cut, polish, and finish stone surfaces on-site when required.
- Install sinks, hobs, splashbacks, upstands, and related kitchen components.
- Use specialist lifting equipment and safe manual handling techniques for heavy stone materials.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Complete final inspections, cleaning, and handover to clients.
- Work closely with templaters, fabricators, project managers, and kitchen installers.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements and site regulations.
- Travel to residential and commercial sites throughout London and the South East.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience installing stone worktops or solid surface worktops.
- Experience with quartz, granite, marble, porcelain, and engineered stone materials.
- Strong bonding, jointing, polishing, and finishing skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings, templates, and installation plans.
- Experience using power tools, grinders, polishers, and stone installation equipment.
- Knowledge of sink cut-outs, hob cut-outs, and kitchen worktop fitting.
- Good understanding of site health and safety practices.
- Ability to work as part of a two-man installation team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS Card.
- Stone masonry or worktop installation experience.
- Manual handling certification.
- Experience working on commercial construction sites.
- First Aid qualification.

Salary
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus overtime and travel allowances where applicable
Pay: £15.41-£28.33 per hour
