Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Assistant CAD Draughtsperson to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in computer-aided design with our Senior CAD Designer both onsite and out at our various sites across the area. The successful candidate will assist in creating detailed technical drawings and schematics, gaining practical experience with industry-standard CAD software.
Responsibilities
- Assist our senior CAD technician in preparing detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD
- Collaborate with our teams to ensure drawings meet specified standards and project requirements
- Participate in review sessions to refine design accuracy and detail
Skills
- Basic knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD but training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers
- Eagerness to learn new software tools and industry practices
- Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy
