Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Lead team management by providing training, guidance, and support to staff members.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment.
- Manage customer service interactions, addressing any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Assist with food production tasks as needed, including serving and preparing beverages.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of supplies.
- Organise shift schedules and delegate responsibilities effectively among team members.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
Experience
- Previous supervising experience within a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is essential.
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures.
- Strong team management capabilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff.
- Extensive restaurant experience including serving, food production, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, hotel service standards, or barista experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service environments.
