We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join the team at Moss Coffeehouse.
We’re looking for someone with previous professional kitchen experience who can work confidently in a busy environment, take pride in the food they produce, and work efficiently as part of a team.
The Role
As a Chef at Moss Coffeehouse, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of dishes to a consistently high standard, while helping ensure the kitchen runs smoothly throughout service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients and completing morning kitchen prep
- Cooking and presenting dishes consistently to a high standard
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Following recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Managing your time effectively to ensure prep and service are completed on schedule
- Assisting with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous professional kitchen/chef experience
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment
- The ability to confidently manage morning prep and service
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- A genuine passion for good-quality food

Experience: Professional kitchen experience required.
Location: GlasgowJob Type: Full-time / Part-timeSalary: Competitive, depending on experience
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
