About the Role
Nathan Research UK is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Equipment Technician to maintain, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. The successful candidate will help ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready for research and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair laboratory equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Assist with calibration and performance testing.
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment documentation.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing with suppliers when required.
- Follow laboratory safety and quality procedures.
- Support laboratory teams with equipment-related technical issues.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience maintaining technical or laboratory equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of laboratory safety and equipment standards.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
