Overview
Scarpetta is a new Independent, family run Italian restaurant seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that their experience is memorable. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Be presentable and on time for work.
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently.
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely service of food and beverages while providing menu recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and food and health/safety and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for guest interaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
