Contract Signalling CRE - Outside of IR35 - Hybrid working
We are seeking well rounded experienced engineer to work as Signalling CRE for the design and implementation of a range of signalling remits, supporting the delivery of a railway engineering project framework.
The role is to lead design of signalling alterations to existing UK mainline and legacy underground systems.
The work includes:
- Signalling Design Management
- Signalling design
- Commercial management of packages of work
- Acting as signalling engineer on multi-discipline projects
- Interfering with other disciplines
- Working on site to evaluate and supervise the delivery of signalling alterations
- Provide signalling expertise and input to project packages
You will be able to demonstrate:
- That you meet all experience to achieve the above.
- You must hold the knowledge, skill and experience to satisfy the requirements of the Network Rail competency assessment quads for signalling design CRE.
- Holder of an IRSE licence in either Principles Design or an Engineering Manager category.
- Expertise of testing and construction management.
- Knowledge and application of RAMS, H&S and CDM.
Experience of costing, pricing and programming.
The role is hybrid remote working, with the office being in London.
The frame work is a long term multi-year contract, for the correct candidate this can be a long term assignment. The role is initially assessed as outside of IR35.
