Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities within our properties. Your expertise will help prevent downtime, improve efficiency, and uphold safety standards across all HMOs. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and automated systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
- Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Ensure all maintenace work is competed to standards
- Uphold safety protocols by adhering to electrical codes, welding standards, and environmental regulations while performing tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs swiftly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Experiance with boilers, cookers, washing machines , fire alarms etc.
- Strong electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge is essential for diagnosing diverse issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
