Pay: £16.50 per hour
Contract: Permanent - Full-Time (40 hrs) including weekends, working 4 shifts between 8am till 6pm

About the Role
As our Physiotherapist, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate tailored physiotherapy interventions that promote mobility, independence and wellbeing for residents living with a range of physical, neurological and age-related conditions.
Working closely with the wider care team, you'll champion a Whole Home Approach, empowering colleagues to incorporate meaningful movement and rehabilitation into everyday care while ensuring treatment is delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with HCPC standards and CQC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy and reablement programmes tailored to each resident's goals and abilities.
- Promote independence by encouraging residents to maximise their functional abilities and participate in daily activities.
- Regularly review treatment outcomes and adapt interventions as residents' needs change.
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, community services and the multidisciplinary team.
- Support care teams to understand and implement residents' mobility and reablement plans.
- Promote safe moving and handling practices and contribute to falls prevention strategies.
- Provide education and guidance to residents, relatives and staff on mobility, injury prevention and healthy ageing.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, training and professional development.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and ensure residents' dignity, rights and choices remain at the centre of all care.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
- 2 years or more of experience working as a Physiotherapist in the UK.
- Holding a valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, consent, mental capacity and best practice in elderly care.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
Desirable:
- Experience working within care homes, community rehabilitation, intermediate care or older adult services.
- Experience supporting individuals living with dementia and multiple long-term conditions.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience delivering falls prevention and mobility programmes.
