Priory Hospital Solihull has an opportunity for a RMN with Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship programme to join our team.
Priory Hospital Solihull is a specialist support for adults with complex mental health needs and we consider referrals from all over the UK (although most of our referrals come from local Trusts within the West Midlands) Conveniently located in Solihull, benefits from excellent public transport links, including rail and bus services / a peaceful rural setting with access to nearby towns and transport connections] and easy access to the M6 and M42 motorways, and well-placed for the M40 and M1 motorways and 4 train stations are located within 5 miles of the hospital.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
- Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
- Evaluate and respond to changes in patient’s condition and needs.
- Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families / carers.

Essential for the role
