Part-Time Dermatologist (Consultant or Senior Registrar)

Hair Loss London is a specialist private clinic dedicated to diagnosing and treating hair loss and scalp disorders. As our clinic continues to grow, we're looking for a Consultant Dermatologist or Senior Dermatology Registrar/Clinical Fellow with a genuine interest in hair loss to join our friendly team on a flexible, part-time basis.
Our patients are predominantly women seeking expert medical care for a wide range of hair and scalp conditions. We're looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and is passionate about improving their confidence and quality of life.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll assess and treat patients with conditions including:
- Female and male pattern hair loss
- Telogen effluvium
- Alopecia areata
- Frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA)
- Lichen planopilaris (LPP)
- Fibrosing alopecia in a pattern distribution (FAPD)
- Seborrhoeic dermatitis
- Other inflammatory and scarring scalp disorders
You should be comfortable performing trichoscopy and scalp biopsies, or be keen to further develop your expertise in this area.

- Specialist consultations and diagnosis
- Trichoscopy and dermoscopy
- Scalp biopsies
- Blood test interpretation and treatment planning
- Oral and topical prescription treatments

- Intralesional corticosteroid injections
- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
- Exosome therapy
- Intradermal treatments, including dutasteride and bicalutamide where clinically appropriate
- Ongoing follow-up and long-term management of hair and scalp conditions
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- GMC registered
- A Consultant Dermatologist or Senior Dermatology Registrar/Clinical Fellow
- Passionate about hair and scalp disorders
- Caring, approachable and patient-focused
- Keen to work in a specialist clinic and continue developing their expertise
