Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, adhering to food safety regulations
- Maintain stock levels by monitoring ingredients and notifying management of shortages or expiry dates
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff and ensure team cohesion during busy periods
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times
- Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests
Experience
- Chef: 4 years (required)
- Cooking: 3 years (required)
- Kitchen : 3 years (required)
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and presentation skills
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is essential
- Previous experience serving guests or working in customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
