Fabrication Detailer / Draughtsperson (Full-Time)
Location: Belfast (In-person).
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm & Friday: 7:00am–12:00pm or 8:00am–1:00pm.
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a permanent role, supporting our Contracts Managers.
Your primary focus will be the production of accurate fabrication drawings for structural steel, architectural metalwork, and bespoke fabricated metal parts.
You will also take ownership of smaller ‘one off’ welding and fabrication jobs, managing them from initial customer discussion through to pricing and the creation of fabrication drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce clear, accurate fabrication drawings for structural steel, architectural metalwork, and bespoke fabricated components.
- Support our Contracts Managers with detailed drawing packages to enable efficient fabrication and installation.
- Take ownership of small, one-off welding and fabricating jobs end to end.
- Discuss project requirements directly with customers and engineers.
- Prepare competitive and accurate quotations/pricing for smaller works.
- Collaborate closely with the workshop and site teams.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and quality in all drawings and documentation.
Skills & Experience
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience using AutoCAD to produce fabrication drawings
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate fabrication drawings.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with customers.
- Ability to take ownership of small projects from enquiry through to drawing production.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team in a hands-on fabrication environment.
Desirable Criteria (Not Essential)
- Experience and understanding of structural steel fabrication and/or architectural metalwork.
- Experience with 3D modelling using Advance Steel (training can be provided).
- Knowledge of pricing or estimating for fabrication works.
- CSR Card.
