Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable 3.5T recovery driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely recovering, transporting, and delivering vehicles and equipment using a 3.5-ton truck. Your energetic approach will ensure timely recoveries and excellent customer service, contributing to the smooth operation of our fleet management. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5-ton recovery vehicle to retrieve and transport vehicles or equipment from various locations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after recovery to identify damages or mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Use flatbed or other specialized equipment to secure loads properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of recoveries, deliveries, and vehicle conditions for reporting purposes.
- Assist with warehouse tasks when necessary, including loading, unloading, and inventory checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe operations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with delivery or recovery vehicles.
- Strong driving skills with a valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent license for operating a 3.5-ton truck.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with flatbed hauling and securing loads effectively during transit.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
