Service Alliance are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our friendly team at a school site in Preston, Lancashire
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Split Shift (6.00 am – 9.00am) – (1.30pm – 6.00pm)
- 37 hours per week
Pay
Contract
- Permanent position
- 39 term-time weeks plus 10 weeks closure cleaning during school holidays
Duties Include
· Opening / unlocking of the site
· Statutory checks and recording of fire alarm/water/ emergency lighting
· grounds maintenance, gritting, playground checks, litter picking, light buildings maintenance jobs
· Cleaning classrooms, toilets and communal areas
· Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
· Emptying bins and maintaining high cleaning standards
· Working as part of a supportive cleaning team
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Enhanced DBS required (paid for by employer)
- Applicants must provide valid photo ID
- Reliable with good attention to detail
