We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team in our well established Joinery in Brighton.The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills ensuring we create and deliver high end joinery to our clients
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Use traditional woodworking machines in an efficient and skilled manner
- Accurately read and understand technical drawings to a high specification
- Prepare precise cutting lists to ensure the minimisation of waste
- Set out working rod drawings
- Manufacture bespoke joinery products for projects within agreed timescales
Experience:
- Previous experience of the following machines preferred:
- Spindle moulder
- Four-sided planer
- Tenoner
- Panel bench saw
- Morticer
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking
- Knowledge of various joinery techniques and methods
- Ability to carry out heavy lifting duties safely
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
