Job Overview
Gloucestershire County Security Ltd is seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team in Tetbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the site and its residents, ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fire alarm cover and respond appropriately to alarms and incidents
- Ensure the security and safety of the site and residents at all times
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises
- Maintain accurate site logs and reports
- Monitor access points and prevent unauthorised entry
- Act in a professional and calm manner when dealing with incidents or emergencies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid SIA Licence (SG / DS / CP)
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, responsible, and trustworthy attitude
Working Hours
- Full-time position
- Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Transport
Transport is not provided. You must be able to make your own way to and from site.
Screening/Vetting
Any job offer is subject to successful vetting in accordance with the BS 7858.
