Divisional Practice Manager – OS Practice Management

OS is looking for an experienced and proactive Divisional Practice Manager (DPM) to take ownership of the day-to-day performance of one of our specialist divisions (lower limb). OS Clinic is a clinician-led practice bringing together 31 specialists across orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, pain management and oral & maxillofacial surgery.
This is a hands-on role for someone with previous experience working within lower limb orthopaedics, who loves creating order, developing people and delivering an exceptional experience for both patients and clinicians.
What you'll be doing
You'll be at the heart of your division, leading a small team, keeping clinics running smoothly and turning challenges into solutions.
- Lead and support Medical Secretaries, building a positive, accountable and high-performing team
- Oversee clinic flow, workloads and day-to-day operations
- Develop smarter SOPs and patient pathways
- Champion an exceptional and consistent OS patient experience
- Monitor performance, activity and KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with consultants, colleagues and strategic partners
- Help improve efficiency, reduce duplication and strengthen ways of working across OS Clinic
- Ensure high standards of governance, compliance and operational discipline
About you
- You’ll be an experienced Practice Manager or healthcare operations professional with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
- Previous experience supporting or managing orthopaedic practices, particularly within lower limb specialties, would be a strong advantage.
- You’ll be organised, commercially aware and confident managing competing priorities, with excellent communication skills and the ability to bring out the best in your team.
- Experience within private healthcare would be highly desirable.

Pay: up to £45,000.00 per year, depending on experience
