Automotive Bodyshop All Rounder
Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (Overtime available)
PAYE Rate: £21.00-£23.00 per hour
LTD Contractor Rate: £25.00-£27.00 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Bodyshop All Rounder to join a busy vehicle preparation operation in Upper Heyford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small but well-equipped bodyshop, supporting the repair and preparation of new vehicles within a fast-paced automotive environment.
The successful candidate will be confident carrying out full cosmetic repairs from start to finish, working on light to moderate vehicle damage.
The Role:
As an Automotive Bodyshop All Rounder, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out vehicle repairs from preparation through to final finish.
- Completing prep, paint, and polishing work to a high standard.
- Repairing light to moderate cosmetic vehicle damage.
- Supporting the Smart Repair Technician with daily workshop activities.
- Working on a variety of new vehicles requiring cosmetic repair work.
- Ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Please note: This role does not involve heavy crash repairs.
The Person:
- Previous experience within an automotive bodyshop environment.
- Ability to complete repairs from start to finish independently.
- Confident carrying out prep, paint, and polishing work.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Reliable, self-sufficient, and able to manage workload effectively.
- Must have your own air-fed mask and spray guns.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
