Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting a variety of construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in horticulture, gardening, and general manual work. The successful candidate will be involved in outdoor and indoor tasks, utilising a range of tools and machinery to ensure the smooth progress of projects. Prior experience in construction or landscaping is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Supporting construction activities by preparing sites, moving materials, and performing basic repairs or maintenance
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems and other outdoor infrastructure
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure safety standards are maintained
- Supporting team members in completing projects on time and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures related to outdoor environments or construction sites
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
- Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK
