We're looking for a Sales Executive to join our Birmingham team. The role combines telephone, email and face-to-face sales, working directly with customers as they research and purchase DJ and music production equipment. Whether assisting a first-time buyer or advising an experienced professional, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
You'll be responsible for understanding each customer's requirements, identifying the products and solutions that best fit their needs, and following opportunities through from first contact to completed sale.We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, has a genuine interest in DJ and music technology, and is motivated by delivering great service and strong sales results.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling enquiries via telephone, email and in person
- Understanding customer requirements through effective questioning and fact-finding
- Recommending appropriate DJ and music production equipment
- Building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service
- Following up sales opportunities and quotations
- Processing customer orders accurately
- Maintaining high standards of showroom presentation
- Assisting with demonstrations, product setups and customer support
Skills and Attributes Required
- A genuine passion for DJ technology and electronic music
- Ideally active as a DJ, music producer or enthusiastic hobbyist
- At least 1 year of experience in sales or customer service
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A consultative approach to selling, focusing on customer needs rather than simply increasing transaction value
- Comfortable working with technology and keeping up to date with new products
- Ability to diagnose and test audio equipment and distinguish genuine faults from user error
- Professional, enthusiastic and well-presented
- Good general education, ideally to A-Level standard or above
Training and DevelopmentSuccessful applicants will receive comprehensive training covering products, systems, sales processes and customer service standards.You'll work closely with experienced colleagues and industry-leading manufacturers, receiving ongoing coaching and development to build your product knowledge and sales expertise.
