Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van or delivery vehicle to transport orders to customers efficiently and on time
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Navigate using GPS or maps to find optimal routes and avoid delays
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times and address any questions or concerns
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately when required
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure safe driving practices at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred, with a strong focus on safe driving practices
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating vans or commercial vehicles is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy items such as pizza boxes and bags repeatedly throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics can be beneficial but is not required
- Strong navigation skills using GPS devices or maps for efficient route planning
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of driving and handling deliveries in various weather conditions
