Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and seating areas
- Serve a selection of cakes and warm where necessary
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks effectively with strong time management skills
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is necessary
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Experience in serving customers confidently, ensuring positive interactions at every touchpoint
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude that contributes to a team-oriented environment
Pay: £12.80 per hour
