SUPPORT WORKERS REQUIRED

We are looking for energetic, positive and active individuals to support our client who is a 9 year old boy with a spinal cord injury. Our client is a happy bright young boy who lives at home with his family in an adapted house. We are looking for Support Workers to work alongside him whilst he learns to gain independence, confidence and help to provide opportunities to express himself. He has physical difficulties which impact on his daily life and therefore we are looking for care support for all aspects of daily living, including personal care, therapy and medication. He has a great sense of humour and a caring nature, so we are looking for someone fun and creative able to engage in play and therapy activities.
During the week our client goes to school so requires support at school and after school. At the weekends and during school holidays our client loves to go out in the community which will be a key part of your role and therefore driving his adapted vehicle is essential.
Our client currently has a small team of support workers so we are looking to welcome more to the team.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Week 1 Friday 7am to 9pm, Saturday 9am to 9pm, Sunday 9am to 9pm
Week 2 Monday Tuesday and Wednesday all 9am to 9pm

The above hours are all of the shifts available, it is not mandatory for someone to cover every shift. Full time and part time roles available.

Previous care experience and /or therapy background working with children is desirable. Car Driver with clean UK licence essential. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and minimum of 2 professional references.
