We are seeking someone to be part of our team. The job role will consist of taking children to and from school, to be there to assist our other chefs with the daily meals served within the nursery, and to keep general areas within the nursery clean and tidy.
APPLICANTS MUST BE OVER 25 AND HOLD A FULL CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE
Responsibilities
- Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals for children in accordance with nutritional standards.
- Assist with daily nursery routines to ensure a smooth and engaging environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen and nursery areas.
- Support staff in organizing meal times and related activities.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to accommodate special dietary needs.
- Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in cooking for larger numbers.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Friendly, caring attitude.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of a nursery.
- Cleaning experience also desirable.
You must be willing to help out and support in rooms with the children each day.
