About the role
As Front of House Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of the hotel. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across all front of house departments, including reception, breakfast, the bakery, bar and restaurant, helping to deliver a consistently high standard of guest service.
You’ll lead shifts, support and supervise the team, and confidently oversee the operation in the Operations Manager’s absence. This isn’t a desk-based supervisory role – we’re looking for someone who leads by example, gets involved in the day-to-day operation, and enjoys working alongside the team.
The role includes opening and closing the hotel, supporting reception, managing guest enquiries and complaints, cash handling, maintaining high standards throughout the hotel, and ensuring the operation runs smoothly. You’ll also help coach and support the wider team, making sure guests receive a warm, welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
We’re looking for someone with previous supervisory experience in hospitality who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions, and working as part of a close-knit team. Flexibility is essential, as shifts will include a mixture of mornings, evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the business.
