CCTV & Access Control Installation Technician | Wrexham, North Wales & Liverpool (Multi-site)
About the Role
We are looking for experienced CCTV & Access Control Installation Technicians to join our team on a large-scale industrial installation project. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing structured cabling, fibre optic infrastructure, CCTV and access control systems while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of 12, 24 and 96 Core Single Mode OM4 Fibre Optic Cable (LSZH).
- Installation and termination of CAT6 RJ45 cable.
- Installation of CAT6 F/UTP.
- Installation of data, telephone, Wi-Fi and camera outlets.
- Installation of 19"/42U Data and Communication Rack Cabinets.
- Mount shelves in 19"/42U Data and Communication Rack Cabinets.
- Installation of CAT6 patch cords/pigtails.
- Installation of Fibre Optic patch cords/pigtails.
- Installation of access control and biometric panels.
- Installation of door contact reed switches, glass break buttons and emergency door release devices.
- Installation of magnetic locks.
- Installation of multicore LSZH data cable.
- Installation of sounders and beacons.
- Termination of CAT6 data cable.
- Termination/Splicing of fibre optic cable.
- Complete all installations safely and in accordance with project standards and health and safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience installing CCTV and access control systems.
- Experience working in an industrial environment.
- Valid Working at Height accreditation.
- Valid MEWP/IPAF accreditation.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction and industrial sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
