Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HGV/Trailer Technician to join our team, working on a fleet of DAF Trucks and trailers. Mobile work will be required at customer sites carrying out repairs when called out. You will be based at our yard in Northwich and a van will be provided for you to travel to and from work as well as callouts and breakdowns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and trailers to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Day shift 40 Hours plus Overtime and Weekend work available too. Having a Class 1 license would be beneficial but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks
- Be able to carry out routine inspections on trucks and trailers to VOSA standards
Requirements
-Must be capabale and have have experience in working with diagnostic tools to carry out electrical repairs.
- Must be able to complete paperwork and job cards in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of DAF Trucks is advantageous but not essential.
Hours and Start time are negotiable. 23 Days holiday excluding bank holidays.

Pay: £41,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
