Fish Bar Cornwall is an exciting, new family run business located in Treleigh, Redruth. We are a Fish and Chip takeaway with the added bonus of a beautifully designed bar.
We are looking for a part time server to join our team, previous experience in customer service, serving fish and chips and bar skills desirable however not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Serving takeaway food and bar drinks
- Providing excellent customer service
- Upselling menu items and drinks
- Ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required
- Managing time effectively during busy service periods
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver orders promptly
- Handling payments and processing transactions accurately
Requirements:
- Prior experience in hospitality desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with kitchen operations is beneficial for order coordination
Hourly pay will be depend on age and experience. Must be aged 16 or over to apply.
