Join our dynamic brewing team as an Assistant Brewer / 2nd Brewer and become a vital part of crafting exceptional beers that delight our customers. You will work closely with our lead brewers to maintain efficient production schedules and uphold food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Assist in all stages of the brewing process, including mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, conditioning, and packaging.
Support quality control measures by monitoring temperature, pH levels, and other critical parameters during production.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all brewing equipment and work areas in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards and food safety regulations.
Help manage inventory levels of raw materials such as malt, hops, yeast, and adjuncts to ensure smooth production flow.
Conduct routine mechanical inspections of brewing equipment and report any issues requiring maintenance or repair.
Assist in documenting batch records accurately and maintaining detailed logs for traceability and quality assurance.
Participate in safety training sessions and adhere strictly to food safety practices throughout all operations.
Experience
Previous experience working in a food production or beverage manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
Basic math skills are necessary for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality assessments.
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with brewing equipment will be advantageous for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety standards is highly desirable to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
