We are currently recruiting Pharmacy Dispensing Assisstant/Technicians on part time or full time position on Permanent contract.
The role is based at Ashgrove Pharmacy, 97-99 Ashley Down Road, Bristol BS7 9JT.

As a Pharmacy Technician your day to day activities include stock management, processing prescriptions, dispensing accurately and other regulatory work related to retail pharmacy business.
You will also be expected to deliver and maintain our high standard of customer care.
You must possess good communication skills, friendly and caring manners to build good customer relationships. You will be expected to provide healthy lifestyle advice and health services to our patients through your excellent skills.Training skills are desirable to train counter assistant if need be. You will be required to work as part of a well-established team.
You need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent. We are happy to support you if you have not previously completed this, we’ll support your development to complete the required training.
We are happy to support you towards achieving both competency and knowledge based NVQ Level 3 (QCF) qualification in Pharmacy Services to become qualified Pharmacy Technician and to register with the GPHC. This could then lead to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role if you are interested in further development.
You must have a passion for Pharmacy, in order to drive the business forward and have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role.
The pharmacy sector is now technology driven to some extent, the candidate, apart from having knowledge in pharmacy sector also need to be IT proficient to some extent to lead other team members in trouble shooting IT problems related to system settings, to communicate app and system providers, printer problems and maintenance issues, login issues, to create and maintain intranet login accounts.
The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
