About Us
Our busy operation based in Norwich is made up of a Production, Office and Sales team. Despite the challenging economic period LCB continues to move forward, adding strength and capacity to our manufacturing team. In support of this we are looking to appoint and develop a new production operative and feel this would be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team.
The Role
You will be part of our production team, helping to manufacture a variety of window blinds including roller, vertical, and venetian styles. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Cutting and assembling components to precise measurements
- Using hand tools and light machinery
- Conducting quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Good maths skills and confidence with measurements
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Hands-on, practical approach to work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to following health and safety guidelines at all times
- Punctual, dependable, and hardworking
- Experience in a manufacturing window blinds is required
The Benefits?
- Salary from £12.75 - £13.00 depending on experience
- 21 days holidays pa + bank holidays
- A bonus scheme - subject to business performance
- Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
